CULTIVATION AREA The vineyards are located in the Bsharreh Mountains (Merweh) and in the western Bekaa Valley (Obeidi) in northern Lebanon. 1400 meters above sea level the sea level for Merweh in Bsharreh and 1100 meters above sea level for Obeidi in the Bekaa valley. |
GRAPE VARIETIES Age of the vines: over 100 years for the Merweh and over 50 years for the Obeidi. |
VINIFICATION 100% handpicked. Both varieties were separately cold fermented with Wild yeast, which is widely used in the winery. After fermentation is complete, the wines are blended and stored for a short time in stainless steel tanks to preserve the original freshness of the blend. |
RECOMMENDED FOOD Goes well with an aperitif or with cold cuts, grilled fish, Lebanese mezze, white cheese and pasta. |

HISTORY It is believed that these vines have not been pruned or treated in the past two decades, resulting in extremely low yields with concentrated aromas. |
